When comparing venues, Carriage Hills Ranch is truly an authentic Texas Hill Country venue. Preserving Texas history with our family barn, which is over one hundred years old, we used it as the cornerstone to build our reception hall. We added to the natural beauty of the land by creating a gazebo overlooking our wet-weather lake, along with numerous other stunning features on the property.

Centrally located between Austin and San Antonio, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, we offer the charm and hospitality you would expect to receive in Texas. We are blessed with beautiful scenery, located near fun attractions such as wineries, distilleries, and museums, and we’re one of the most affordable and unique venues in the Texas Hill Country.

This means with a smaller budget (making great use of our decorations and beautiful outdoor areas), or a larger budget (designer gowns, specialty cakes, and helicopter rides), Carriage Hills Ranch is the ideal venue for your special day.

Two-Day Rental

  • Add the day before your ceremony, Monday - Friday, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm for $1,000 rental fee. (Use this time to decorate, rehearse, and enjoy your rehearsal dinner.)

Please note - we do require a $1,000,000 day-of-event insurance policy with Carriage Hills Ranch listed as the additional insured. This policy is due 60 days prior to the event date. The approximate cost is $150 - $175.

  • Exclusive use of the 5,400 sq. ft. Reception Hall and the grounds

  • Three ceremony locations:

    • Gazebo overlooking our four-and-a-half-acre wet-weather lake with amphitheater-style seating made from Texas limestone

    • Outdoor Texas limestone fireplace and patio

    • Carriage Hall (Reception Hall) in case of inclement weather

  • Climate-controlled Reception Hall with caterer’s prep kitchen, stage, 6’ bar, 10’ buffet table, dance floor, and indoor restrooms (wheelchair accessible)

  • Over two-thousand decor and antique items available for your use

  • Outdoor games included such as Ladder Toss, Ring Toss. and Lawn Darts

  • Numerous areas for photos in addition to our ceremony areas such as our Texas limestone bridge with waterfall; Historic San Antonio Streetcar; terraces; oak trees and more

  • Use of our tables, linens, and Fruitwood Chiavari chairs with cushions for use inside the reception hall for up to 220 and white folding chairs for outdoor reception use for up to 200

  • Outdoor bar and appetizer area on our historic Streetcar or use our fireplace patio area

  • Use of our fireplace - (including wood) for making s’mores or staying warm on chilly evenings

  • Climate-controlled Bridal Cabin and Groom’s Quarters

  • Use of Antique Buckboard Gift Wagon; Antique Display Stand; 6 Whiskey Barrels; Wine Cart; Portable Speaker

  • Romantic lighting throughout the property, including terraces and reception hall

  • Free on-site lighted parking (with handicap parking) and parking attendant

  • Five-passenger golf cart available for assisting guests

  • Off-Duty Police Officer(s) on-site for 4 hours during the reception for security

  • Carriage Hills Ranch team member on-site on the day of your event

  • On-site Bridal Portraits taken prior to the wedding date, on any Couples Open House date (photographer not included)

  • 1 hour of Rehearsal Time - this may be scheduled the day before the wedding, if available

  • Set-up of tables and chairs in Reception Hall and clean-up
